Challenging The Norm

A part of old Egyptian fashion consisted of clothing
which exposed the women's breasts.
In present society, any attempt to reproduce this action,
will be both immediately rejected,
and detrimental to the reproducer.
This contradiction states that society has become more conservative over the last 3000 years.
Reviewing present day actions, gives the impression
that society wants to return to its past outlook.
The questions raised are, how long will it take
before our attitudes reverse themselves?
In the next 1000 years, what will become the accepted norm?
Is all of our concern about appearance futile?
Does this fluctuating pattern represent everything we do?
